Public Art and my Bicycle BFF

Here is a painting based on a series I'm going to do about the love/hate relationship Vancouver has with public art.  And with bicycles too I suppose.  This mural can be found on Richards St near Gastown.  It was supposed to be for a Sad Mag submission on the theme of "Movement" but I missed the deadline by a long shot.  But I am really loving the colours and complexity of this painting, and I'm really excited to do more!

A painting based on the love/hate relationship with public art and bicycles in Vancouver BC. We love our bikes, and we love vibrant color on our streets, but the powers that be are always watching over, making sure the fun is happening in designated zones.
